Events

This area is for upcoming events. An event can be either a tournament or a league gathering.

Most tournaments are open to everyone, with the exception being the Tucson Pinball City Championship. Events with an “@TISC” indicate events that contribute points to the City Championship. The standings and explanation of the City Championship can be found on that specific page.

The Tucson Pinball League is a group that gathers on a monthly basis. You must be on the roster in order to be able to participate. Check out the TPL site for more info. https://tucsonpinballleague.wordpress.com/

FORMAT INFORMATION

TIMED GROUP MATCH PLAY: Groups of 4 (or 3 where needed) will be formed each round and groups assigned to games, both by Matchplay. Players will report finishing order, scores are not needed, just order. Games will be grouped as classic or modern and only a single type will be assigned per round, and they will alternate each round. 3 hour event.

FLIP FRENZY: 2-player groups will be assigned to games by Matchplay. Standings are determined by wins minus losses. A late player will be assigned a score that is tied with the last place player after the round the later player arrives during is over. A player that leaves early will not be deactivated and will be assigned a “player not present” within Matchplay which will give them a -1 and move them to the end of the queue. This will then move the next player in queue in their spot. 3 hour event.
